This class is for students interested in deepening their personal practice through the ancient teachings of yoga. Ananda yoga teaches traditional yoga tools to gain control of your prana (life force). We begin with energization exercises to stimulate the subtle energies of the body. During the asana practice we practice positive affirmation to strengthen one’s concentration and prepare for meditation. Class also utilizes pranayama and visualization exercises.
