Devin Nolte he/him

Devin is a native of Iowa City, where his deep roots in the community and love for the arts
continue to inspire his path. He began his yoga journey in 2023 and quickly connected with the
physical, mental, and emotional benefits of the practice.
Over the past two years, Devin has shared yoga with high school students at Iowa Conservatory,
using that time to find his voice as an instructor and mentor. He believes it’s never too early to
begin cultivating a sense of balance, presence, and self-awareness.
After completing his 200-hour certification in May 2025, Devin is excited to continue growing
as both a teacher and a student. He’s passionate about creating welcoming, mindful spaces for
others to explore their own practice. Devin is grateful you’ve chosen to share part of your
journey with him and invites you to stay open to the many ways yoga can support your life—on
and off the mat.

Class Description:

Hatha Yoga Practice (main class sequencing):
Devin’s Hatha Yoga class offers space to breathe deeply into postures and movements with
intentional focus on both mind and body. Each session begins with gentle breathwork and
meditation to center and awaken the mind, followed by a breath-to-movement sequence that
allows time to pause and feel into each pose.
This class welcomes both new and experienced yogis, offering modifications and variations to
support each individual’s practice—while honoring the roots of traditional Hatha Yoga.

Yin Yoga Practice (secondary):
Devin’s Yin Yoga practice invites deep, intentional stretching into the body’s connective tissues
and deeper muscle layers. In this guided class, students will hold each posture for 3–4 minutes,
creating space to explore sensation and stillness.
Yin Yoga encourages a quiet, inward focus, supporting both physical release and mental
resilience. Each class begins with soft breathwork and closes with a grounding Savasana
meditation.
