Eastern Iowa Yoga Teacher Training and Yogi Immersion is an in-depth study and training in the elements of hatha yoga – integrating the energetics, philosophy, psychology, and spirituality of yoga. Why do yoga and its techniques leave you feeling the way they do? What is the science of energy management? How can you embody those teachings with more effectiveness?

The 200+ \hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher training will encompass the body, the breath, the mind, meditation, and wisdom and heart teachings. We will pull from Tantra, Classical Yoga, Ayurveda, ParaYoga, and the ancient texts as our sources. Students in enrolled in this course will gain a richer understanding of themselves and how to integrate the practices of yoga into their life and how to effectively lead others on the same path. By delving deep into your own practice, you will be enlivened to share that which you know.

The 80-hour Yogi Immersion is designed for students who want to plunge further into the study of yoga and their personal practice without the year-long commitment or the teacher training skills and certificate. It includes the first three weekend modules – primarily focused on the body and the breath, the energetics of asana, and Ayurveda. Open to all serious students of yoga.
