Jennifer Bedet (she/her)
With an easeful authenticity, Jennifer weaves together mindful movement and breathwork to create a gentle, calming practice that’s accessible for all bodies and all levels of yoga experience. Her yoga and meditation offerings are rooted in various traditions, including Kripalu and Parayoga, and are also deeply informed by research into the therapeutic benefits of these modalities for physical and mental wellbeing. To that end, she has studied with numerous experts, including Drs. Arielle Schwartz and Stephen Porges (Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga), Bessel Van Der Kolk (The Body Keeps the Score) and Betsy Rippentrop (Yoga for the Mind). Her 200-hr training was completed through the Kripalu School of Yoga in 2021, led by Michelle Dalbec and Sadia Bruce. She is currently working toward her 500-hr certification as a Therapeutic Specialist through Tiffany Cruikshank’s Yoga Medicine. She also continues to study with Rod Stryker (The Art & Science of Meditation, The Energetics of Sequencing, The Yoga Taravali) and Tias and Surya Little (SATYA Level 1).
