Kate has been practicing yoga since 2002 and completed her Hatha yoga teacher training with Dr. Betsy Brandl, Kimberly Jeager-Arjes, and Uma Subramaniam where she was immersed in the study of both eastern and western approaches to mind body. Kate is certified in Yoga for the Mind, and holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence and the Science of Wellbeing from Yale. Kate works as a certified transformational coach helping clients practice ways to live a more aligned, authentic and purposeful life.
Her mindful approach to yoga blends gentle physical movement with present-moment awareness, breath, and awareness of what is happening within. In these uncertain times, many of us feel drained, restless and overwhelmed as our bodies struggle to keep pace with all our minds are processing. Kate’s slow, intentional, and meditative practice incorporates gentle transitions and nervous system resets to help calm an active mind, release tension held in the body, and guide participants back toward greater alignment, grounding, and connection with themselves.
