This interactive, experiential class will empower you to improve your attention and focus in your academics,
sports, music, and other activities, better handle stress, get out of your head and enjoy life more, cultivate healthy habits to support you in high school, college, and beyond.

Kerri teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at UIHC. She is also the instructor for mindfulness-based academic courses on the University of Iowa campus. Kerri has trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn, and has earned the CFM’s Certified MBSR Teacher distinction, just one of two people in the state of Iowa to have completed this certification.
Before beginning to teach mindfulness in 2011, Kerri was a teacher in the Iowa City Schools for 18 years.
