Primordial Sound Meditation Training
I’m frequently asked which type of meditation is the best or the most effective. In order to be successful, meditation needs to be simple, comfortable, and have results that make you want to keep showing up every day. There are many approaches to meditation such as mindfulness, zen, guided, kundalini, and even breath meditation.
I tried many of these styles in the past 20 years, and while all are effective and great, the type that finally helped me commit to a daily practice was mantra meditation which seemed to help my mind settle in a way other styles never did.
Primordial Sound Meditation is a technique that relies on a personalized mantra.Your personal mantra is chosen using Vedic mathematics based on the sound or vibration of the Universe at the time of your birth. By incorporating this sound into your meditation, it has the effect of drawing your awareness back to your highest self.
Primordial Sound Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years, and was modernized and brought to the West by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon over thirty years ago. Since then hundreds of thousands of people have received their mantra, and there are hundreds of teachers worldwide. Betsy underwent the 3-part training 2016-2017 and is a certified Primordial Sound Teacher.
