Restorative Yoga is a slow and quiet practice appropriate for students of all levels. Simple poses are held for several minutes at a time, encouraging the student to “unwind,” letting go of unnecessary physical, mental, and emotional tension. An excellent counter to our culture’s often-frenetic pace, restorative yoga is excellent for stress relief, and helps students deepen awareness of their bodies and minds.  Please see schedule for all dates. Renew and Recharge at The Goddess Garden

A Yoga and Meditation Retreat in Costa Rica

January 4th-12th, 2019

With Fannie Hungerford and Betsy Rippentrop

Join Fannie and Betsy on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica for a week-long retreat focused on connecting to the sacred stream of creativity that supports us, planting the seeds for an abundant 2019, and exploring the innate desire in all of us to feel good and have fun! Each day will have two yoga and meditation classes.  The morning class will be more dynamic and active, and the afternoon class will include more gentle movement, yoga nidra, longer meditation, and/or pranayama.  What you do in your down time is up to you!  Watch the sloths and listen to the monkeys on the grounds of the retreat center, read a book, walk on the beach, swim at the pool, or venture out for one of the excursions offered.  Goddess Garden is nestled into a remote spot where the jungle meets the sea.  Think rainforest, monkeys, waves, and giant blue butterflies. The ocean is a short walk away and there is abundant wildlife, fauna, and natural beauty all around.   The three meals a day are fresh, delicious, and local – quite a treat when coming from the Midwest in the Winter!!!  For more information, please visit our retreat page at :
