In this 8 week speciality course, Betsy will introduce you to the power of yoga as a way to create and build a more resilient mind. Anxiety, depression, and stress are rampant in modern culture and we have all experienced manifestations of these states. Yet through daily practices, we can re-member an inner resilience that already resides within and learn to more effectively self-regulate the emotional states that often derail us. Experience the deep deep calm of restful awareness.  The practice of Yoga Nidra has many aims – healing, restoration, cognition, activation of sankalpa, and in its most sublime – spiritual awakening. This is the practice we all need.  Lie down, let go, and settle deep within yourself.  In these two hour sessions, the Yoga Nidra practice will be the main feature, with other practices like gentle movement, pranayama, self-reflection and meditation making supporting appearances.
